Some videos from when I was wanting to practice making social content. Mostly about audio video tech.
Make Things Happen
This is a clip of me playing a song with my friend’s band at a show I ran and engineered. All of the audio gear and equipment I own and have collected over the years, to the point that I can run a small show like this! I also decided to try something new with this setup and midi mapped Ableton to behave like a mixing board with physical midi controls, and I ran the whole show through that! That day was long with a ton of set up and troubleshooting, but it was a blast. There were two other bands that played, and way more people there than I expected.
Practice
My roommate’s band needed a simple live music video to send in for a gig, so we decided to try to get creative with our limited space and practice with my gimbal!
The Audio Pixel Collider
This is a video from a collaborative event where I created my own EDM-style track that I performed live using an Ableton Push controller and my guitar. This was held on campus at UT and was another great event, and a spectacle. There were projections mapped to each track on the walls made by other students, as well as programmed lighting on the dance floor.
